Thank You!!!
A big thank you to all who took part or helped in any way to make the 5th annual Dorridge Fun Run the most successful so far with a record number of entrants at 1200 runners, cyclists and walkers. This year's inclement weather (probably an understatement) made the Fun Run damper than usual but generally, better times were achieved so congratulations to all who finished their respective courses. We hope you enjoyed the day.
A total of (we estimate) around £22,000, plus individual sponsorship and GiftAid of course, should be banked and our two charities Acorns hospices and Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance both extend their heartfelt thanks to all involved.

Thanks also to Malcolm Stent who again got proceedings started with a broad grin on all our faces, the new mayor of Solihull, Cllr Norman Davies and to Caroline Spelman MP whose commitments prevented her from running this year but who was able to join us in time to present prizes.
