Thank You!!!

A big thank you to all who took part or helped in any way to make the 4th annual Dorridge Fun Run the biggest and most successful in its history. A record turnout of 1000 runners, cyclists and walkers enjoyed the usual mix of fun and exercise – some more rigorous, some more relaxed – in a great atmosphere and in some of the most beautiful Warwickshire countryside. Congratulations to all who finished their respective courses. We hope you enjoyed the day.

A total of around £20,000, plus individual sponsorship and GiftAid of course, should be banked and our two charities Cancer Research UK and Edward’s Trust both extend their heartfelt thanks to all involved.

Particular thanks to our main sponsors John Shepherd estate agents and to all our other sponsors. (shown at the bottom of this page).

Thanks also to Malcolm Stent who again got proceedings started with a broad grin on all our faces, the new mayor of Solihull, David Bell and to Caroline Spelman whose commitments prevented her from running this year but who was able to join us in time to present prizes to the winners of the 8 miles race.

We do hope you can all join us again next year!
